bad things first.
gone is my meridian scholarship chance, and probably the research at the
institute of bioengineering and nanotechnology as well. sighs.

to thank all those who voted me into the committee, and everyone who gave me a
chance to serve the house. words can't express how grateful i am.
bio experiment.
i've never seen such big tadpoles in my life. it kept shitting. cleared it's
shit, disgusting! rather gross to scoop it up initially, but got quite obsessed
with doing it in a while. my tadpole was cooperative after i placed it in low
temperature water for quite a while. then it got difficult to measure it's
breathing rate when it kept swimming in circles in the beaker and i had to keep
turning it to observe it with the magnifying glass. and my tadpole splashed
water at me the last time i scooped it up to return it to the pail in front with
its tail. haha. i still can't believe i actually dared to do the experiment.
semakau trip.
slept over at yiling's. she seems to have a split personality during the night.
suddenly become so serious, totally no jokes. she's like so different. haha
yiling, are u reading this? trudged through swampy coral reefs to see a wide
diversity of organisms. got a cute octopus badge and some certificate, which is
still with jielin. visited the raffles museum where all the specimens are so
well preserved. interesting how a 3.3m long swordfish weighing 245kg was found
at our east coast beach.
colosseum. was
busy preparing for colosseum, not as hectic as the cheerleaders though.
pondering if i made the wrong decision for not joining cheerleading. helped up
with the banner which turned out rather well. but the paint smudged when it
rained today. watched the cheerleaders practise on sunday. nice choreography
they've got. enjoyed the cheerleading of all houses today. most importantly,
callisto came in third, which means we needn't sit at the muddy field for next
year's colosseum!
off to stadium to
watch the finals of the soccer guys, MJC vs RJC! and temasek seminar trip to
changi naval base on friday, haha. oh yes, i failed my biology again. sighs, and
i'm like the third lowest in class. i seriously need to catch up. passed my
chinese and i'm rather satisfied, but our class's chinese standard is rather
high. chemistry test and economics test to be given out tomorrow i guess.
hopefully i pass either of them. hopefully both of course, but the probability
is almost zero.
and yes, seniors
stepped down today. new band exco released. will miss the seniors a lot, and i
really appreciate what they've done for us and what they've taught us. not
forgetting their encouragements, and for believing in me when i wasn't feeling
too good during the pre-syf period. thanks so much seniors!
