okay, chemistry
practical..

the whole class
value's around 24.4 to 24.7 for VA. i got 24.5... but still, we don't know
teacher's answer so let's not be too happy yet. got 0.049 for concentration and
82.81 for mass of barium peroxide. nearly gotten that wrong because i forgot we
need to prepare 10 dm cube of hydrogen peroxide. may god bless me and let me get
that 12 marks which i didn't get for prelims. for the "plan an
experiment" part, i was a little taken aback. it's like so different from
what we usually did. i missed out a few points here and there..

i did the titration on
my chair. andy too. anita was behind andy and she told me she could easily read
off the value from andy's burette. that means si cong too. it didn't occur to me
and i've been doing titration this way all the while. but it doesn't matter.
andy placed his apparatus near the sink later on and i can gauge what is his
reading when i'm washing the test tubes, but i didn't. lols. and he can see what
i'm writing when he's washing his test tubes. he's like just right beside me.
it's like so easy to "refer" huh. and our guess was right, potassium
manganate came out for titration because someone saw her school ordering
a lot of it. haha. and i checked that i close the tap of the burette this time
or else it would be a disaster. potassium manganate you know.. and my pipette
filler can't fit into the pipette. guess those pipettes were new because they're
bigger.

for QA, i got
"the formula of anion in S is I minus (iodide)". the answer was so
obvious when we got the yellow precipitate. oh yes, when i did one of the tests
for the 1st time, my solution was  colourless, then white precipitate was
formed on standing. later, it turned pale yellow. some of my friends said that
was right, but when i re-do the experiment because i have so much time left, i
got white precipitate only. but this time, i used more reagent. hmm..

yiying made me a
string of 8 cranes for good luck. i think one crane represents one subject. so
sweet right. thanks a lot yy =)
